"Box Office Battle" is The Fly's weekly roundup of what movies topped the weekend's box office.
Legendary and AT&T (T) subsidiary Warner Bros.' "Godzilla vs. Kong" stayed number 1 in its third outing with an estimated $7.7M domestically to hit $80.5M through Sunday. Overseas, the movie grossed another $12.2M for a total of $309.7M and $390.2M worldwide, passing up "Tenet" at $365M.
BOX OFFICE RUNNERS-UP: Comcast (CMCSA) subsidiary Universal's "Nobody" placed number 2, earning another $2.5M in its fourth weekend for a domestic total of $19.1M and $34.5M globally. Behind it was Screen Gems' "Unholy," which grossed another $2.1M for a domestic cume of $9.6M. Disney’s (DIS) "Raya and the Last Dragon" placed number 4 with $1.9M for a domestic total of $37.7M. The movie is also available on Disney+. Rounding out the top five, Warner Bro's "Tom & Jerry" earned another $1.1M for domestic cume of $42.6M
